6th Grade

Summer Announcement from Mr. Medina, English Teacher (6/13/19):

Incoming 6th Grade Students, please have the following suggested materials ready the first week of school:

  • a composition book for English notes

  • a composition book for English homework

  • colored pencils, pens and pencils

Recommended 6th Grade Reading List:

Suggested: Independent reading of two hours or more per week. Reading can be tracked and rewarding through the LAPL reading Tracker App or online. More information can be found at https://www.lapl.org/summer.

7th Grade

Summer Assignment for 7th Grade English:

All incoming 7th grade students need to complete two full weeks of reading (30 minutes per night) from a novel that they did not read in 6th grade. The reading logs are due the first week of school.
